The first of our bigger, new-look quarterly issues covers many topics pertaining to winter fishing. Brett Mensforth provides a terrific insight into Kangaroo Island’s land-based fishing options, Jamie Crawford puts silver trevally under the spotlight, and Lubin Pfeiffer passes on a heap of information on cool water inshore targets.

It’s bloodworm time soon, and Phill Heitman tells us how, where and exactly when to catch them. Steve Grindle checks out some of our northern reservoirs, Shane Mensforth heads to Tassie for giant trout action, and Dan Challinger gives up some land-based squidding secrets.

We’re now running five columns from expert writers, including Jack Laidlaw, Charity Selleck, Lubin Pfeiffer, Jamie Crawford and Andrew van Ryneveld, covering a wide range of topics. These guys really know their stuff.

Our boat tests include the Stabicraft 1450 Frontier, Haines Signature 640F and Haines Hunter 595 Offshore.

The Winter issue will run right through until September, so grab a copy. We are sure you’ll love the new format!
